1) Click on the icon that should be just under the closure cross at the top right of the page.

2) From the drop-down list select Options. This will open the options menu in a new tab.

3) Select Privacy & Security from the options on the left hand side of the page

4) Scroll down until *you see the heading Cookies and Site Data. This option is just under half way down the page. When you find it, click Clear Data

5) Click the Clear button on the panel that appears.

On the follow-up message, click Clear Now to confirm.

6) Scroll down a little further and you’ll find the History menu.
Once you locate this, click Clear History

7) Select a time frame to clear back to from the drop down list at the top, and tick the boxes next to the various boxes to select the data you’d like to remove.

We recommend ticking everything except active logins (Which remembers websites you’re logged into).
If you’re just trying to get back into a website that’s been playing up recently, you might want to go for a shorter time range, otherwise we recommend Everything.
One more tip:
Theres an option for both history and site data to make Firefox clear the info every time you close it.
Simply tick this box under the Cookies and Site Data options

And / Or change the drop down menu under History to Never Remember History
