What to expect

This is a short introductory call for businesses that want to talk through a software idea, problem or project.

You might be looking to replace an old system, improve a manual way of working, connect parts of the business that need to work together better, or discuss a fuller bespoke software project.

The call is simple: we look at what you are trying to achieve, what needs to work better at the moment, and what kind of next step would make sense.

What to bring

• A short explanation of the job the software needs to help with
• Any spreadsheet, system, form or process you use at the moment
• Who uses it and what they need from it
• Where the current approach is causing problems
• Any timescale, budget or must-have details you already know about

What we will cover

• What you are trying to achieve
• What needs to work better at the moment
• Whether the right route is a Day-1 Build, a small first version or a fuller software project
• What should be tackled first
• What should wait until later

If the work needs more than a Day-1 Build, we will say so. If a smaller next step would do the job, we will say that too. The aim is to find the right-sized next step.
