Background
Golden Boy Coaches first encountered AlphaFirst when their previous IT support company failed to resolve a critical Firewall issue.
Despite weeks of attempts, the previous provider could not diagnose the problem.
Andy Wing, at Golden Boy, relates the events:
“Interesting story! Our previous IT support company would only offer remote support and would sub-contract the hardware maintenance. This was frustrating as whenever there was a problem it would result in a lot of downtime and disruption to the business.
We had a problem with our Firewall which made our internet connection unstable and pretty much unusable. After a week of trying, our previous IT supplier could not diagnose the issue and would often blame third parties for the fault. At the end of my tether, I called AlphaFirst for help. Nick answered the phone and said he would come down to our depot the same day to help. He arrived, plugged in his laptop and diagnosed the fault within 5 minutes. He spoke directly to our IT company and told them what they needed to do to fix the issue!
Since then, AlphaFirst has been our IT support company of choice.
I like the fact that they are local to us and always on hand to help.
The team’s knowledge is amazing, and they prefer to prevent IT problems rather than waiting for things to go wrong and then react to them. They are also very friendly and easy to talk to!”
