Our cloud-based spam filtering system provides an excellent external shield to all your company-wide emails.
As well as best in class filtering, it also provides extra protection in that it will allow you to positively confirm if one of your staff members has actually received an email or not in the last 30 even days even if it is accidentally or even maliciously deleted.
On the rare occasions that spam still slips through the filter you can report it and help train the system by forwarding it directly to a special email address that we set up for you as part of the service.
Incoming email is marked into 3 categories as follows:
- Definite Spam / Malware / Virus / Phishing emails – These will be blocked, stored for 30 days then deleted
- Good emails – These will be passed, stored for 30 days then deleted
- Bulk Mail emails – These are advertising emails that will be tagged by the system passed, stored for 30 days then deleted
During the first 30 days your new spam filter will automatically detect valid incoming email addresses and add them to the firewall. The solution has a very low false positive rate and allows any email sent in the last 30 days to be re-sent if required. It also provides you with the reassurance that we can positively confirm if an email has (or has not) actually been received by any of your email address in a single location.
